In the Camping Village, freedom is most important. You arrive, take off your shoes, put on your slippers and immediately feel: here everything is possible, nothing is compulsory. Sleep in your own camper or choose one of our accommodations - tipi, pod, yurt or Lazy Luxe with private sanitary facilities. It's up to you.
During the day, wander through the forests of Dorst, take a dip in the swimming pond or spontaneously join in a game of badminton or game picking. There are creative activities, an outdoor cinema, fires, music, and yes - also silent disco. Anything goes, nothing is compulsory.

Camping Village RØSTIG - Dorst is for the adventurous peace-seeker. The tinkerer, the campfire whisperer, the spontaneous bon vivant. And the best part? You put together your own RØST. Spontaneous badminton tournament, walk in the woods or hit the sauna. Join in the free activities or book extra relaxation. From yoga to massage, from wild picking to a fresh breakfast in the Kookhøt - you choose what you like.

To sleep
Sleep in the Camping Village however you like: from spacious Yurt or Lazy Luxe with private sanitary facilities, to your own campervan or tent.
Whether you come with your own van or prefer to crawl into one of our accommodatoins - at Camping Village RØSTIG, you will sleep comfortably among the trees, with the stars above you and a fire next to you.
Choose a Tipi (incl. picnic bench and fire pit nearby, with optional linen package), or go for a knøsse Tonnie, Panorama Pod with a nice view or the warm Yurt - they all come with bedding package. Fancy a touch of luxury? Then our Lazy Luxe is for you, with its own toilet for your convenience. Prefer your own camping equipment? Come with your own camper or tent!
Each spot has its own charm, but always with a fire pit within easy reach and a picnic bench nearby for your morning coffee or evening beer.

To do (or not to do)
Plenty to do. But doing nothing is also fine.
At Camping Village RØSTIG, you don't have to participate in anything. You are allowed to. Sometimes you will hear laughter by a fire, see a group of trackers disappear among the trees or there is a sudden outdoor cinema in the grass. But often it is also just røstig. Just the crackling of wood, a blackbird on the picnic bench and you staring at a cloud.
We regularly organise cool things - wild picking, drawing, outdoor yoga, silent disco, outdoor cinema. But it's not always a tight programme. Nice and casual. Sometimes the guests come up with something themselves. Then you join in or stay put. Also fine.
What we often have: fires. Small ones at your own place, bigger ones to join. Sometimes with live music, sometimes just good conversation.
What's always there: the sauna. Included with your stay. And afterwards? Just cooling off in the swimming pond.
Or you head into the forests of Dorst. There are quite a few of those near us! Winding paths, tall trees, silence. Yes, this is also relaxation. Lovely mountain biking, running, hiking.
And want something extra? Then book a yoga class, a massage or breakfast in the Kookhøt. All are allowed. You don't have to.
You make your own RØST. We'll make sure there's plenty to blow on.
Activities
See what's up when you arrive on the location.
Every morning check the Moments board for the day's programme. Maybe there's a wild-picking walk. Maybe drawing in the grass, or an outdoor cinema at sunset. Or nothing - also fine.
We put on it what there is to do, but above all, feel free to start something yourself. A game, a beer by the fire with strangers - the board is there for inspiration, not obligation. You may also teach a yoga class yourself in the Yoga Yurt.
📍 You'll find the Moments board at the Living Room and below. Walk by, see what you like, or just hang out. Note: subject to change (like teachers with flu).

Camping Dorp RØSTIG is located in the middle of the forests of Dorst. You step straight from your camper, pod or tipi into the greenery. No crowds, just trees, røst and winding paths where you might just run into a deer.
