Of course, you already know RØSTIG! The place in the Netherlands where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. While our guests enjoy doing something or doing nothing, our team of hosts is there to assist them. Whether it's helping to light a fire, providing information, or ensuring that the grounds always have that signature RØSTIG calm.
RØSTIG has two locations!
Kedichem
We have our location along the Linge River in Kedichem. Nestled among beavers and kingfishers, just outside Utrecht, it’s small-scale and delightfully RØSTIG. Grab a paddleboard, canoe, your RØST moment, a yoga session, or a cold beer. You’ve earned it.
Dorst
We also have our location in Dorst, Brabant. A spacious spot, surrounded by trees and featuring our idyllic swimming pond. The laid-back Brabant spirit fits perfectly with the RØSTIG vibe. Cozy, slightly larger, and close to endless forests.
Are you a calm keeper in busy times? Would you like to work at RØSTIG for a few weeks to several months in exchange for board, lodging, and a basic allowance? Then we’re looking for you!
Vacancies
Host RØSTIG (28-32 hours per week)
You ensure guests have a great time and make sure everything during their stay runs smoothly. You’re service-oriented, solution-driven, sociable, and flexible. With a warm and approachable attitude, you smile often and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves. You have an affinity for nature, relaxation, sports, and being around people, and you can’t wait to give others an unforgettable experience.
Your responsibilities include, among other things, checking guests in and out, answering questions, keeping the grounds tidy, cleaning accommodations and sanitary facilities, and lighting fires. Lots and lots of fires :)
Experience in hospitality or recreation is a plus. The ability to stay organized under pressure, keep the campsite running smoothly with a smile on your face, and distinguish between what’s important and what’s not is key. You’ll work a few hours a day, covering both daytime and evening shifts. When you’re off, you can enjoy the facilities and surroundings of RØSTIG.
