Q: Setting fire to things?

You can do that with us! If you say RØSTIG, you say fire. We're happy to light a fire at the communal fire pit. You're also welcome to light your own fire in the fire bowls on the premises; buy a bag of wood for €10. You can also bring your own wood; we'll provide kindling and matches. Please note: during very dry weather in the summer season, regional restrictions may apply to fires.

Q: How do I get to RØSTIG Kedichem by public transport?

Go to NS station Leerdam and take the bus from there to the Kerkstraat stop. Please note: book this dial-a-bus via 9292 one day in advance. From there it is about a 5-minute walk. Or a bit longer if you're carrying a lot of luggage.

Q: How do I get to RØSTIG Dorst using public transport?

Go to NS station Gilze-Rijen and take the bus from there to the Steenovensebaan stop. From there it's approximately a 20-minute walk. Or a bit longer if you're carrying a lot.

Q: What is included in my accommodation?

A comfortable bed, some crockery and cutlery, mugs, lighting, electricity, a fridge or cool box, and a fleece for when the evening gets a bit cooler. In short: everything you need for a portion of RØST.

Q: What's different about RØSTIG Zeewolde?

Lots of green, lots of water, all the space. Only... this time in a place that may still be new to you. Our RØSTIG hamlet has settled in the middle of the Flevo Wilderness, on its own piece of Landgoed Energy Up. A place that's full of life. Where children play, a dog strolls by, and where other campers also enjoy the estate. Energy Up has its own programme on their section (which you can also enjoy with them – sharing is caring 🌿). But don't worry: in our RØSTIG village, it will remain as you're used to. Small, fine and... røstig. What makes it just a little bit different: – You're not the only one (rust-coloured or less rust-coloured) on the grounds – The Food Forest bar, where you can get delicious coffees, lunches, and desserts – More to do, but only if you want to – Natural swimming pond, beach, walking trails, and nature right on your doorstep (seriously, literally) – Being alone without feeling lonely So, somewhere in the middle.
